Ecole Keller
In 2017, as part of the Spanish language program at École Élémentaire Keller, I collaborated with Spanish artist Esther Ferrer to create "Te voy a contar mi vida", a performance centered on identity, language, and migration.
Children aged 6 to 8, many from migrant backgrounds, took turns sharing their life stories in their mother tongue. As their voices overlapped, a chorus of intertwined narratives emerged, turning the classroom into a living archive of cultural and linguistic diversity.
This performance was not just an artistic exercise but a collective exploration of how language and territory shape identity. By giving space to their voices, we created a shared reflection on belonging and the value of personal histories in shaping a plural and inclusive memory.
